All Sites: Backend Updates

We've spent a long time updating a lot of the backend code for the sites to make them more compatable with mozilla browsers. We're happy to announce we've worked out all the bugs. The news sytem has completly changed and is now being directly pulled from posts in the forums. So if anyone wants to sign up and submit their own news HERE you can now do that on your own without having to contact a staff member. Please read the RULES first to ensure that your news will be added to one of the sites.

In addition to the backend update slight theme modifications were made and the search feature listed on all the sites should work a lot better when searching within our gaming sites.

The general cheats site is a work in progress but its been put on the back burner latly due to some of the above mentioned update. Even still there is needed maintenance to be done on the new topsite pages as a rush of members are signing up now everyday before other things can be touched. We'll also be adding some content to some of the sites where it is due....this includes Halflife 2, Medal of Honor Pacific Assault, Wolfenstein and maybe a few more but the bulk worth mentionioning is within those games. There may be a few suprises as well in terms of new sites this summer. Stay tuned for more on that.

Also, we had to reset the server time due to on outage the other day from cable problems and this caused the topsites to reset when the time was changed...this week will end again after sunday.

Finally - A major problem with the listed walkthroughs was fixed on all game sites. Walkthroughs should now be viewable. If there are any problems please use the contact us link to report any bad links.

grrr..

for whatever reason, when i click this on my mozilla bookmarks, it opens in the bookmarks toolbar still :-P
